lami_phillipsThere’s only one word to describe Lami Phillips, and that is INSPIRATIONAL. Lami is not only a singer and a songwriter, but an educationist and youth leader as well. Her poetic lyrics coupled with her eccentric voice leaves the listener yearning for more. With Inspiration from Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Common and Tupac, Lami combines contemporary African flavor with classic soul music. Her insightful lyrics are not only relevant in the present day life, but also communicates with the individual spirit.

Her first single Know, is from her first album project INTUITION and was produced by and features MI. Abaga. The song abridges the complexity that is eluded with love, leaving the listener with nothing more than Nostalgia.

Basically it’s a party organized for the bigger boys and gals, Champagne represents the guys and Divas represent the hottest and sexiest models/girls Lagos has ever had.”
