Before the video premiered, some Naija people on twitterland were making a lot of noise and criticizing the video with nothing but negative verbal diarrhea. This only built up my anticipation to see the video, and after watching it I have to say that I was quite impressed. I appreciated the fact that Wale took it to a real Naija party, leaving the viewer with a nostalgic feeling of an actual Nigerian party as he showcased the many reason why we as Nigerians love our parties. From the dance, to the money being sprayed, to the bottle of stout…there’s no denying the “Nigerianness” of the video.
